Product leader turning complex ideas into usable products

15+ years across product design and UX, development, enterprise SaaS, platforms, and product leadership. Today, I combine Director-level product experience with hands-on AI building.

Director of Product

AI, platforms & execution

Combining product strategy, platform thinking, and hands-on AI building.

Product leader with a builder's mindset.

I have always worked between ideas and execution.

I have 15+ years of experience across product design and UX, front-end development, digital product management, enterprise SaaS, mobile products, and platform leadership.

My career started close to the work: designing experiences, building interfaces, understanding users, and helping turn business goals into usable digital products. That foundation still shapes how I lead today. I care about products that are clear, useful, well-executed, and connected to real customer and business needs.

Early in my career, I also co-owned a startup that was featured in the Vancouver Sun and The Province. That experience taught me what it means to build from the ground up, make decisions with limited resources, manage risk, talk to customers, and take responsibility for the full outcome.

Working in a small business taught me lessons I still use today: move quickly, understand the whole system, stay close to customers, and make ideas practical enough to survive in the real world.

Today, I lead complex product areas as a Director of Product Management, working across enterprise platforms, developer ecosystems, administration experiences, and AI-enabled product opportunities. My role is to create direction, align teams, make difficult product decisions, and stay close enough to execution to help turn strategy into working products.

Three principles. One consistent output.

Design Thinking

Clarity before momentum

I do not believe in moving fast just to create activity. I focus on making the problem, customer need, business goal, and trade-offs clear so teams can move with purpose.

Problem Solving

Practical strategy

Strategy only matters if it changes what teams do. I care about product direction that can be translated into decisions, roadmaps, prototypes, and working software.

Relentless Innovation

Strong execution culture

Good products come from teams that stay close to the work, communicate clearly, learn quickly, and take ownership of the outcome, not just the deliverable.

AI changed how I work.

AI has changed the distance between an idea and a working product. I use it to explore product concepts faster, prototype real interactions, test workflows, connect tools, and make strategy more tangible.

For me, AI is not just a productivity layer. It is a new way to work across product thinking, design, development, and execution. It helps me validate ideas earlier, understand technical possibilities faster, and have better conversations with engineering because the work is no longer only theoretical.

I still believe product judgment matters more than ever. AI can speed up research, prototyping, and delivery, but the real value comes from knowing what problem to solve, what experience should exist, what should be automated, and where human judgment still matters.

How I lead product work

A leadership framework for moving from ambiguity to measurable outcomes across enterprise SaaS, mobile products, platforms, and AI-powered experiences.

Discovery & Research

I create alignment around the customer, market, workflow, data, and business context before teams commit to a solution. The goal is to understand where the real opportunity is, what constraints matter, and what outcome the product needs to create.

Customer and business insight

Problem Definition

I help teams turn research, stakeholder input, and business priorities into a clear problem statement, success criteria, and decision frame. A strong problem definition creates focus, reduces ambiguity, and prevents teams from solving the wrong thing well.

Strategic problem framing

Solution Direction

I guide product, design, engineering, and cross-functional partners toward a solution that balances customer value, technical feasibility, business impact, and delivery risk. I use prototypes and working models to make ideas tangible and decisions easier.

Direction and validation

Prioritization & Roadmap

I translate product strategy into priorities, trade-offs, and roadmap decisions. I make the reasoning visible so teams understand what matters most, why it matters, and how each investment supports the broader product direction.

Roadmap clarity

Execution & Iteration

I stay close to execution without turning leadership into micromanagement. My role is to remove blockers, clarify decisions, protect focus, support the team, and adjust scope when reality changes.

Focused execution

Launch & Learn

I treat launch as the start of the learning loop, not the end of the work. I define success measures, monitor adoption and behavior, gather feedback, and use what we learn to improve the product and guide the next set of decisions.
